Animal print is a trend that never seems to go out of style and leopard print is definitely my favorite, especially for accessories such as shoes, scarfs, hats and so on. I do like leopard print combined with strong colors. As I did it this time with this beautiful royal blue romper! Lucky me it's warm again here so I went for bare legs!

FALL LAYERS and WRAP SKIRT

Layers. When the temperature drops, layering is the key to looking stylish while staying warm. I have some simple rules for layering: I always start with a basic, lightweight top. Then I usually add another layer such as a soft cardigan or sweater. The next layer is a jacket or coat and at the end I add a scarf (not always as you see). My advice is to play with texture. If you use all of the same fabrics, your look will come off as heavy.

By the way, we took these pictures in Venice last weekend! I always love coming back to Venice, it's so beautiful even if it was a little bit cold. Anyway, layers saved me!

GREEN TARTAN or DARK COLORS FOR RAINY DAYS

Total black. On days like these when it's raining and raining and raining I prefer dark colors. Lovin' this green tartan skirt from Zara paired with Lookbook Store sweater. Biker jacket and a cap are my musts to don't get cold and wet. Lucky me we have porticos in Bologna and I can walk without an umbrella! What is more we can take pictures even if it's raining all day, yay!
